Proxxon HSS twist drill bits diam. 0.50mm (x3)

These drills are designed for metals, non-ferous metals, plastic, platinum and wood.
They are made from HSS (High Speed Steel) which is a high-alloy, hard-wearing steel that, due to its manufacturing process, can withstand deformation up to around 600°C. 

• Diameters available: 0.50 - 0.80 - 1.00 - 1.20 - 1.60 mm
• Shank: ø 2.35 mm
• Sold in packs of 3
• Speed: for soft materials approx. 8 000 rpm - for hard materials approx. 3 000 rpm

Recommendations for use:

• Use cutting oil or cooling emulsion when machining steel.
• Use white spirit or petroleum when machining aluminium.
• Plastics and wood can generally be worked dry.
